Real Estate Market Watch: Residential Transactions

• 5,946 residential home transactions took place in April 2026, up from 5,556 in April 2025 - an increase of 7.0%.

 

April 2026 Real Estate News: Average Selling Prices

• The average sale price for April 2026 was $1,051,969. This is a decrease of 4.9% from April 2025, when it was $1,106,505.

 

Monthly Market Update: New Listings

• There were 17,097 new listings available for April 2026, which is a 9.3% decrease from April 2025 (when there were 18,847).
• The sales-to-new-listings ratio has increased by 5% from April 2025, from 30% to 35%.

 

Real Estate Market Watch for April 2026: Days On The Market

• The average property spent 43 days on the market, compared to 37 last year - an increase of 16.2%.
• Listings spent an average of 29 days on the market, which is a 16% increase from this month last year (when they spent 25).
