Real Estate Market Watch: Residential Transactions

• 7,481 residential home transactions took place in June 2023, up from 6,422 in June 2022 - an increase of 16.5%.
• When seasonal adjustments are taken into account, there was a 6.9% decrease in the number of purchases from May 2023 (6,823) to June 2023 (6,353).

June 2023 Real Estate News: Average Selling Prices

• The average sale price for June 2023 was $1,182,120. This is an increase of 3.2% from June 2022, when it was $1,145,796.
• The average price for homes in the Greater Toronto Area saw a 1.6% increase compared to the previous month (from $1,145,753 to $1,163,915).

 

 Monthly Market Update: New Listings

• There were 15,856 listings available for June 2023, which is an 3% decrease from June 2022 (when there were 16,353).
• The sales-to-listings ratio has increased by 8% from June 2022, from 39% to 47%.

 

Real Estate Market Watch for June 2023: Days On The Market

• The average property spent 19 days on the market, compared to 24 last year - a decrease of 20.8%.
• Listings spent an average of 14 days on the market, which is a 6.7% increase from this month last year (when they spent an average of 15).
