Real Estate Market Watch: Residential Transactions
- 10,955 residential home transactions took place in March 2022, down from 15,628 in March 2021 - a decrease of 29.9%.
- When seasonal adjustments are taken into account, there was a 18.6% decrease in the number of purchases from February 2022 (10,554) to March 2022 (8,588).
March 2022 Real Estate News: Average Selling Prices
- The average sale price for March 2022 was $1,299,894. This is an increase of 18.5% over March 2021, when it was $1,097,391.
- With seasonal adjustments, prices saw a 1% decrease from February 2022 (from $1,299,309 to $1,286,136).
Monthly Market Update: New Listings
- There were 20,038 listings available for March 2022, which is a 11.9% decrease from March 2021 (when there were 22,747).
- The sales-to-listings ratio has decreased by 14% from March 2021, from 69% to 55%.
Real Estate Market Watch for March 2022: Days On The Market
- The average property spent 11 days on the market, compared to 13 last year - a decrease of 15.4%.
- Listings spent an average of 8 days on the market, which is a 20% decrease from this month last year (when they spent an average of 10).
