Real Estate Market Watch: Residential Transactions

• 6,583 residential home transactions took place in May 2026, up from 6,195 in May 2025 - an increase of 6.3%.

 

May 2026 Real Estate News: Average Selling Prices

• The average sale price for May 2026 was $1,069,700. This is a decrease of 4.6% from May 2025, when it was $1,120,716.

 

Monthly Market Update: New Listings

• There were 17,698 new listings available for May 2026, which is an 18.9% decrease from May 2025 (when there were 21,830).
• The sales-to-new-listings ratio has increased by 9% from May 2025, from 28% to 37%.

 

Real Estate Market Watch for May 2026: Days On The Market

• The average property spent 42 days on the market, compared to 39 last year - an increase of 7.7%.
• Listings spent an average of 27 days on the market, which is an 8% increase from this month last year (when they spent 25).
