Real Estate Market Watch: Residential Transactions
- 9,046 residential home transactions took place in September 2021, down from 11,033 in September 2020 - a decrease of 18%.
- When seasonal adjustments are taken into account, there was a 0.7% decrease in the number of purchases from August 2021 (8,649) to September 2021 (8,712).
September 2021 Real Estate News: Average Selling Prices
- The average sale price for September 2021 was $1,136,280. This is an increase of 18.3% over September 2020, when it was $960,613.
- With seasonal adjustments, prices saw a 1.8% increase from August 2021 (from $1,103,468 to $1,123,277).
Monthly Market Update: New Listings
- There were 13,483 listings available for September 2021, which is a 34% decrease from September 2020 (when there were 20,441).
- The sales-to-listings ratio has increased by 13% from September 2020, from 54% to 67%.
Real Estate Market Watch for September 2021: Days On The Market
- The average property spent 19 days on the market, compared to 22 last year - a decrease of 13.6%.
- Listings spent an average of 14 days on the market, which is a 12.5% decrease from this month last year (when they spent an average of 16).
